“Auguste” turns his head, arms move up/down simultaneously. The slow, clockwork movement is produced by traditional method using a 5-cam operated mechanism. Brass levers follow the shape of the 5 wood cam discs, push/pull the rods of the internal mechanism, producing the slow head and arm clockwork movements. The motion plays for 60 seconds.
